How do I get a Foodbank voucher?
Food banks are community organisations that can help if you can’t afford the food you need. You’ll usually need to get a referral to a food bank before you can use it.
The web page linked below contains advice on:
- Getting a referral
- What to do if you can’t go to Citizens Advice?
- What happens when you go to a food bank?
- What to do if you need to use the food bank again?
We cannot offer Foodbank vouchers by email – if it is an emergency then please call our advice line, which is open from 9:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon, Monday to Friday, with late opening until 7:00 in the evening on Tuesday and Wednesday, on 0808 278 7807 (free) but please note that, in our area, there is guidance stating we can only offer clients 3 foodbank vouchers within a 6 month period, barring exceptional circumstances. Please take that into consideration if you have had previous foodbank support and require further help.
